Experience post to lunchtime lecture: Lily May

I found this lecture really interesting because of the way Lily May was able to make such a big career so young. I thought that making the best of the materials you could afford, and then coming to love those materials was a really great approach to art. I also found the comment on not finding art school very valuable was interesting, because that would not be my initial thought, but I think it shows how one can still be successful in an art career even without extensive teaching. Also, I found Lily May's artwork to just be really beautiful, and really appreciated the colors used in combination with the ink.
