Artist Copy Drawing

This week I made more progress on our artist copy drawing by delving deeper into the core and legs. It has been difficult trying to get Rembrandts mark down especially at the start, as you can see in the torso and especially the arm of the figure. However I started to use smaller lines and more hatching which seemed to work better, as you can see in the leg. I also realized the image I was using had questionable quality compared to another I found online, which now makes it much easier to distinguish the direction of the lines. I am also trying to focus more on the energy and repetition of Rembrandts marks rather than an exact copy.
